6.3 Layoff for Lack of Work or Funds

MIT's policy on Layoff for Lack of Work or Funds is found in Section 7.6 of Policies and Procedures. For service staff, the layoff provisions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement take precedence whenever they are in conflict with the provisions of Section 7.6.
